All, I have a 2001 Azure that caught fire before I bought it. The wiring is pretty much toast as everything else under the hood. I'm thinking that if this car ever sees the road again, it will need everything under the hood from another car.

I'm wondering if the red label Arnage would make a suitable donor for this car. What do the experts say?

The Azure / Conti have a slightly lower bonnet line that the sedans, so I'd want to make sure that it's not too tall. Also, did they re-route any of the exhaust manifolds, etc.?

I assume all the engine mounts are the same?

Hmm... was the Red Label still the GM slushbox (or at least one with the same bolt-pattern, drive spigot, etc.)? I think they changed transmissions once or even twice during the Arnage run.

Sounds like a fun project though. Keep us posted.

I believe that the engines are the same and any of the accessories like manifolds can be swapped over. That's not a big concern. My big concern is the ECUs and wiring which are all toasty on the azure.

If you're taking the ECUs and wiring harnesses along with the transmission from the donor car, then the only worry is hooking it up to the dash. (Although that could be a pretty big worry.)

The Arnage is a throttle-by-wire, isn't it? (And I'd bet the Azure is not. So you may need to transplant some other things like the accelerator pedal / rheostat.)
