My boot lid will not lock when closed. I can move latch in lid with my finger and get light to turn off, but it springs back when let go. When I close boot it springs back up 1/2 inch. I have been using a trickle charger and closing boot on power lead. Could this have contributed to problem? Have I confused electronics somehow? Any thoughts?
