the place is called Autostadt and is located in Wolfsburg at the main plant of Volkswagen - it is a combined museum and customer center and comes with it's own hotel, restaurants and all.

Their own site is here. Information on exhibits is however scarce. The city of Wolfsburg hase some pictures here - see navigation for pictures of individual brand pavillions (mostly architecture pics and hardly any cars).

If you want to enquire about a specific exhibit I'd just try their contact: service (at) autostadt.de.

cheers for that, id looked at that site ages ago and got nowhere with it, any google searchs assume that the only thing of interest there is old beetles........

i might drop them a line and see if the car is still there

My disappointment with the Girls Town Car isnt based on envy -- far from it, its a great car. But it isnt an Azure, which admittedly is twice the price but more than twice the car.

guru - there are also a selection of historical Bentley's in the 'lineage' display up at the factory in Crewe. Could be there?
