Bentley I know - and I did pick up the Naim announcement, but who the f__k are they? Linn, yes, Alpine, yes, Huntley & Palmer or whoever Aston Martin are using, but Naim? It sounds as if it was a perfume or something to do with Naim Attalah?
Hard to remember their Naim?

They really are quite famous in hifi circles... you don't tend to walk into an independent and buy Bose or Alpine or any of the rubbish most people tag as premium audio.

Are HiFi circles those bunches of aesthetic muppets who stand around in pubs whining about distortion. If so I'm not surprised I haven't heard of Naim, but I'll check on the net.

Started life in the mid 1970's - a very respectable British Hi Fi manufacturer and extremely well known to anyone interested in music reproduction.

Not sure where your bile's coming from but it's not very appropriate.

Its not meant that seriously, don't worry. I did spend some time in a bar once with some people who spent all their time going on about aspects of sound reproduction which sounded beyond any relevance to the real world. I should have known better.

I see they have quite an interesting website and sound, as you say, like a capable operation.

All the same, I would need some convincing that they could genuinely make a serious difference in a car. The best idea anyone has had on this recently was Honda, who put the speakers in the roll bars of the S2000, as a result of which you get excellent clarity, even when you are booting it with the hood down.

Far better off buying a super exclusive Bentley Sedanca T for a third of the price.
