I do have the ceramics on mine and love them. They deliver truly amazing stopping power which is very re-assuring when pushing on hard in something weighing 2.3 tonnes. The action is very progressive and much better than those on my Lambo which are more snatchy. I'm sure the unsprung weight reduction also helps the car's handling which is incredibly nimble for something so heavy but I can't prove it as I haven't driven one with the steels. At £10k they aren't cheap and I wouldn't bother if the car spent most of its time in traffic, but then why get a GT Speed anyway? For pressing on down A/B roads, I think they are worth it. No doubt there won't be much residual on them but if you're buying a new Bentley you have to expect some big depreciation. With that in mind, I'm planning to keep this one for a while - with eco-warriors on all sides of the house they might not be making cars like this for too much longer.
The car seat must be the most expensive known to man - it cost £1,100! But then if you're spending £150k+ on the car and wasting £4k on Aluminium trim on the dash it doesn't feel as bad. When the interior of the car is so exquisitly finished you can't spoil it by putting some crappy thing from Halfords in trimmed with pictures of elephants...
