Bentley is considering a Diesel engine for the Conti... I know Porsche is well. Is this the end for cars to be made without accountants interfering?

The reason I say, is that Bentley said only 6 months ago a diesel wouldn't be used. Also why diesel, doesn't really offer much more fuel economy. It is just the lazy way instead of investing in electric powered cars..

They should just dual fuel them (LPG) and it's relatively cheap motoring for the foreseeable future. I've converted a few Bentleys now and all the owners wished they'd done it years ago (including me).
