It's a Silver Shadow 1.

I have the ice warning light on my (much later) Silver Spirit, but not on this one. Not sure when this feature was first introduced, although someone on here will probably be able to advise.

Cheers.

Very nice

sorry to be vulgar but how much a car like that cost?

thanks
A good question, as prices seem to be firming up now for decent, well loved Shadows. A good car is now well into the £10K+ category, although at the lower end of this range you'll find some pretty bad ones as well. At the higher level it's variable. At the moment I know of two very good cars both priced in the range of £25,000, something that would have been unheard of only a couple of years ago.

I do like the look of the Shadow 1 and that looks to be a very nice example. We've owned a 1980 Shadow 11 for must be 18 years now. My father in law uses it on dry days and enjoys every moment. He's 83. Even 18 years ago I looked at maybe 15 cars that all had issues. I hate to think what it is like now. We paid £15,500 for the car back then and I guess it is worth similar money now. In excellent condition throughout and 43,000 miles on the clock. Perhaps not the best colour choice, honey gold with dark brown roof. Brown leather with magnolia piping plus picnic tables. But the colour choice was not mine
