Hi guys!

I'm looking for some advice on what you guys in the UK budget per year for servicing on a 2006 Continental GT?

Also anything in particular to look out for? I've found one I love and going to have the local Bentley dealer give it a full health check but anything you guys can think of would be a great help!

Thanks,
Craig

The wife and I are half-considering a Conti GT (prob a GTC) and I've started looking into costs etc.

From responses on here it seems you need to allow £3000 for a big service at main dealer and 1.5k for an intermediate service. Then you need to factor in the cost of insurance, wear and tear items (tyres/brakes), tax and fuel and also warranty renewal etc. I'd guess if you allowed 3-4k per year (before tax, insurance and fuel) you'd be about right.

Lovely vehicles, we just need to actually drive one to see if it's for us (and I'm not getting one until new garage is built and that will be after Christmas!).

Good luck with your search. Sorry there's not much specific info, but just giving you an idea of what I'm expecting it to cost.

Depending on mileage obviously, services are due every 10k so you will expect 1 a year and they are about 800 for a minor rising up to 3 grand depending on which fluids / plugs need doing. Tyres are 200 a pop, brakes 2 grand for 4 discs and pads, you will never see more than 20mpg. A word of warning, don't buy without warranty. To change the starter motor the engine and gbox come out. 21 hours labour !!

Hey Guys, thanks for the responses!

One problem I do have is after they are 2 years old they don't have a warranty and here in Dubai you cannot get a used car warranty from the Dealer for them either!!! They will however give me a full health check of the car which I suppose is better than nothing.

I've already driven a couple and love them so I will buy one just need to find the best one I can afford for the money seeing as the warranties are an issue!
