Hi.I have just completed a two thousand mile ski trip to the Alps. Mostly bad weather with snow ice and fog. Could any car do it as well as a Continental ? Great speed,traction,comfort.At 145mph it runs as true as a Vantage and better than a 911 There may be more desirable cars but any better?

A Flying Spur, W12 Phaeton or W12 A8 would probably be just as accomplished.

For the trip he has just completed I would say an Overfinch TDV8 Range Rover(Full fat model not the Sport)

A range rover diesel - good god man you do know that the hoi polloi and commercial vehicles use this foul smelling abomination.

This is true but as much as I love the Arnage I have been using for the last few weeks and the gt I had for a short while last year,the RR is overall a better vehicle to cover ,000 mile distances in(I did a 1200 mile round trip with our 3 year old daughter in total comfort a few Months ago)
