Afternoon,

Any idea on how I should clean and protect the wood trim in my car.

Thanks in advance,

I usually wipe mine down with a damp cloth, and then put some Johnson Beeswax furniture polish on with a clean dry cloth.

I suppose you could use any old aerosol household furniture polish, but I like a bit of wax.

I dare say a proper French polisher will be along soon to say Nooooooo!

Well, I am no French polisher but would imagine that waxing a properly lacquered set of wood trim would have no effect whatsoever. Surely just a damp cloth to wipe down and clean of any dirt should be enough. I use a microfibre cloth with a little interior detailer misted onto it to do the job. Gets rid of all the fingermarks and buffs up to a glassy finish.
