So ive owned my 2003 mini cooper s for years now and due to starting a family i need someing abit bigger but i cant part ways with it so ive made the choice to make it into a track toy... so far its had 2.5 inch cat back exhaust... and thats it ive brought this intercooler now but im not sure on what pulley size to go with
As ive seen 11% to 20%
Im looking to get around 200hp if possible... any help would be great thanks

If you go for 17%, a proper CAI, colder plugs, a less restrictive exhaust (the standard JCW is about the best) and improve the airflow through the intercooler also you should be there or there-abouts.

if it's a track toy keep it 15% or less, unless you're going to use a front mount intercooler, just do other things with the engine to get the top end power up.

^^^^^ agree. COrB really knows his stuff. Has provided me with great, intelligible advice for those of us with lesser car nous, on another forum. On which he stands out out as such a polite, patient, helpful chap.
