Vin number identification

Hi,

Just thought that this information will be useful for you guys. I found a free vin decoder service myminivin.com and its also work for MINI cars.

I work with used/old cars and it helps to identify factory options and exact manufacture date. For example some times car can be registered much later than it was produced you can try to check on your own mini.

Is this for BMW Minis or classic Minis? Doesn't work for my car - 2005 R53.
