R53 Mini Cooper JCW GP servicing
Discussion
Hi, I have an R53 JCW GP (2006) and looking for recommendation for servicing in the South London/Surrey area.
I have a main BMW agent nearby but am sure there are better & cheaper independent alternatives. Always found this to be the case with the 996 GT3 I owned for many years.
Cheers
Geoff
I had mine done recently at ETA Motorsport at Brands Hatch. Very reasonable and were even happy with a bank transfer after I picked the car up.
My 996 has been to various places - Paragon, 9e and Porsche Tonbridge.
Both cars are quite something.
As an aside, what have you done about your wheels? Mine have been deteriorating for a while now but that diamond cut type polished surface was never going to be long lasting. A bit like the OEM e46 M3 wheels. I was thinking about getting them all one colour - red? black?
As it is my general run around I do not intend on selling so keeping them OEM is not particularly important.

I personally have used main dealers, they've typically been cheaper than an indy.
If you just need an oil change then I can recommend National, you don't however get a stamp in the book though (fully synthetic and a new filter <£50). I typically change my oil once or twice a year so mix and match.
