Just been invited by Listers (Boston & Kings Lynn) to go to see a 'closed sale' of their used stock - some of the used ones they have got have virtually NO miles (just over 100) having been registered since last April! I was half interested in one that seemed to have a mountain of options which must have cost a tidy sum but on further interest, was suddenly told it was NLA ...

Some of the 2017 registered cars are seemingly ££££ cheaper than normal. No new models in yet to see - so extra time spent trying to flog the used ones. And they'll have loads more very soon ...
Are they really though? These places have a habit of comparing prices of used cars with the list price of a new one.

The one with all the options - sounds like someone else snapped it up before you?

Not surprising someone bought a used car before me (!) but it was still marked as a 'coming soon' ... probably just not keeping the site up-to-date.

Had this issue when looking for an F56 S for my sister. We must have called 5 or 6 that were showing as for sale, only 1 was available. The rest had been sold some time ago. Odd.

I do wonder if there if some dealers advertise cars they don't have cheaply to get the phone ringing. There are quite a lot of cars that had just sold when I started ringing round.

Probably. Although some may have legitimately "just sold".

I've had the same issue, contacted the dealer (via Mini UK website) only to find out the car was sold. It was still on the site several days later, clearly clickbait, so when Mini contacted me for feedback I let them know I was unimpressed.

Sounds like it's a fairly standard dealer practice.

I also followed one car up by going into the showroom (Sytner)

Sticker price on the car was 2k more than the online price.

I didn't start to haggle on it - all the salesmen were busy.

At least MINI seem to be on track building these new LCIs, even if they don't seem too interested in selling them hehe

F56S that was ordered 1st week of Feb had a provisional build date of Week 15, but had a message from the dealer yesterday saying it's scheduled for production next week and will be delivered before the end of the month woohoo

Better still, it's being built at Oxford smile

Excellent. All sounds good. My new MINI had to face the snow last night. Was gunking myself given its only 2 weeks old. It did well though smile

The new Union Jack lights are £266 - call your dealer

MINI will warn you that you need LED lights already and they will show a bulb out as the indicator is now LED rather than bulb

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on them if you fit them

Error free & brighter reverse lights I'd be tempted to change mine
