Well, took a new LCI demo out today for a couple of hours and then ended up buying one - so a good day all round. Emerald Grey, five door. JCW Sport kit and Pepper pack and a few bits inside. You can't get the piano black exterior light trim on a Cooper unless they fit it at the dealer pre-collection so that is what we have ordered. You can then have the grille wrapped in black ...
Looking forward to picking it up!
sounds good. did you get any discount?Looking forward to picking it up!
Not double figures per cent but enough to be happy with ... there's always a saving in the deal somewhere!
A rubbish trade-in offer on our old Mini though, 2012 Cooper Olympic diesel - 58k. So selling that to my step-daughter instead ... they don't want diesels obviously! Maybe too high a mileage for them to retail at a dealer anyway ...

Thanks I can see this becoming quite a popular option from the factory (I think it was £100, probably one of the more reasonably priced options available), but I think you can get the parts required from the parts desk if you wanted to do them yourself?
I think it looks great. It's certainly something I'm going to look into then thanks. https://www.bowkerlifestyle.co.uk/mini-genuine-fro...
Lohen are selling the rear lights, but at a premium. Apparently not just plug and play, they need configuring via the ODB port and at the moment will still throw a false error on the dash. I'm still investigating this.

I'm based in Farnborough (Hants), and can turn off the dash warnings in exchange for a beer. I've done it on my own F57 JCW, and my mates F56 Hatch.uk66fastback said:
What did you use though when you did it and did you take it off the car? Easily removed?
Removed easy enough was just a decent quality wrapping vinyl. Did belt line and filler cap easily.I removed it from car as it would have been even worse as I'm a ham fisted twonk

Oh and if anyone wants a set of the black front and back lamp rings, I have a set here.
Bought them for mine, but didn't like it, so refitted the chrome. Been on the car for about 20 minutes. Front ones unused.
I'd be interested. I'm based in Farnborough too. Bought them for mine, but didn't like it, so refitted the chrome. Been on the car for about 20 minutes. Front ones unused.
DM me. Thanks
