Order through coast2coast, they've always achieved cracking discounts and are lovely to deal with. I picked mine up through Vines Gatwick (Tom) Top lad. Managed to get 10% on a new JCW when local dealers wouldn't even do £50.
thanks for posting. - good to hear of the discounts. How long until its built and collected?superlightr said:

Two months in - car is superb I have to say. It's the wife's so I only drive it at weekends really but I've been grabbing it recently simply for the AC which the 944 is lacking of course!
I'm not sure the six-speed box is warranted though - it'll toddle along in fourth quite happily and I'll forget to change it's so good. Seems it needs a long fifth and all would be fine.
The fuel useage seem a lot more on the petrol one against the diesel one we had before - maybe it's cos I forget to put it in top

Funnily i've the reverse issue - my (modded) Cooper S pulls that well in sixth i can usually overtake easily without having to drop down a cog or two.

The pull in 6th gear in the JCW is strong enough not to need to change all that often which was surprising to me.Two months in - car is superb I have to say. any news on the JCW config? Whats the story with the LCI JCW ? have they stopped making them?
I’ve just posted something similar in another thread.Long story short...
JCW emissions causing headaches for MINI to be able to meet their ‘across the range’ targets.
JCW taken out of production (there are many LCI models available in the dealer network - not yet registered so don’t appear on the used MINI website - Sytner Sheffield had about 5 on display yesterday) until the electric MINI arrives next year, which will offset the JCWs higher CO2 levels.

If anyone's interested Rybrook Mini (Midlands area) have ordered a huge batch of JCWs with the Chilli pack. All awaiting first registration.Long story short...
