So the other half said she always wanted a countryman and had been seduced by the scrappage schemes on offer, but couldn't have an S which was my stipulation surprise surprise! After some playing with the calculator managed to find a good Countryman S All4 with MFSH and 38,000 on the clock for 10k, which I think in the end was a more sensible choice, the F60 is huge mind! Having always been a bit Anti new mini (classic owner) I am genuinely quite excited for its arrival, probably because I've been told I'm allowed to play with it slightly!

Miltek Cat Back first to be done, then probably a Manic Stage 1 shortly after! Any other must do mods recommended here?

Also as this out do everything car, the integrated Bike Rack is actually a smart piece of kit, but trying to find a second hand car with the prep for it is a nigh on impossible, so going to have to go about retrofitting the electrics for it and corresponding ECU changes, anyone undertaken that before?

Fit a towbar and buy a towbar mounted bike rack

Forget the Catback, go for a sports cat and remap.

I am pretty sure that Countrymans come with the bike prep as standard... mine certainly did.

Tim, I saw you message before you edited it, and had no idea what it meant? Apart from the VIN, haha! Not sure they all did, I couldn't see the electrical connection when at the dealer the other day, I think they all have the two towing eyes to connect the rack up to.

I use one on our F55. The electrical connector is hidden behind a black grill. Not very obvious if you don't know.

Whilst I've had a Milltek cutback on my R56, I'd see what other choices there are as well....Lohen have a good selection of alternatives and if you keep your eyes peeled, they have discounts periodically on certain manufacturer products including 'zorsts and Manic remaps. Don't believe what you hear from YouTube clips on exhaust noises by the way - it's much better to hear them in real life as you might be disappointed otherwise on the tone of some systems.

Sorry - I thought the VIN decoder would show the rack preparation on the option list - but it didn't on mine, although I defo had the prep as the electrical socket was there, tucked up under the rear bumper. As I say I'm pretty sure the R60 Countrymans (previous model) all had it and I was told by my dealer that the new Countrymans (and new Clubmans as well) get it as standard as well.

Has the rack been delivered yet ? Putting 2 + 2 together I can guess what bike you will transporting.

My rack struggles with 2,4 inch tyres. The wheel shoes are too narrow. Fortunately there was a guy at the bike park parked next to me with an identical, but towbar rack, which was branded Atera.

I have now bought some replacement Atera wheel shoes which are suitable for 2,4 tyres.

Let me know if you need a link to the supplier.

Oh what 2 and 2 is that? Haha!

But yes, Downhill and Enduro bikes, if you could send a link that would be great.
