Manic are now no more.
Ah, just read the thread on Mini Torque! And looks like Lohen have pulled them off their website, as Superchips is the only option for remaps on there now.Looking at companies house they first tried to strike off in July 2018, then it was discontinued and a new stike off in April this year.

What model have you got?
I've now had my Cooper S stage 1 mapped by Celtic Tuning and pleased with it, but that was with before and after rolling road sessions at their HQ near Newquay. Quite a way from you admittedly. They seem like a decent outfit anyway.
Personally I didn't want a third party agent/reseller to just flash some software on without knowing how it was running before or after on the rollers.
Considered Manic, but quite a trek for me to Lohen, or even Sussex Road and Race who are also MINI specialists. The latter would be close for you, and the Manic remap costs a bit more but probably gives the biggest power gains from what I can gather from various sources.
2010 Clubman. Too be honest I've had mobile flashes on previous cars and they have been great, I'm not interested in chasing numbers and having a dyno chart to show the figures. My Octavia Vrs was transformed when I did the stage 1, my 325D was also an improvement, I just wanted the same with the Mini, as I feel it needs a little more oomph. Slight change of plan now, the Mini Is up for sale. If I get no interest and decide to keep it, I'll probably go with Celtic tuning and also do a suspension refresh

I couldn't agree more but if it isn't done properly (on load with AFR readings) you have absolutely no indication of how well the engine is running or have any confidence in whether the engine will last or not.My Manic stage 2 map was done in June, so I guess I'm lucky not to have missed the boat.
It does explain perhaps why they backtracked on the custom map (to not increase steering weight) and didn't answer my emails. Sort of understandable now.
Maybe they will be back. Meanwhile, Lohen will have a hole to plug now and any other tuners that relied on Manic maps as part of their business.

I have a 2014 F56 Cooper S, it’s Stage 1 by Lohen but instead of Manic it’s a Superchips remap. Therefore “only” producing 256bhp, however since then I’ve had a JCW Pro Exhaust fitted so maybe a little more. It made 210bhp standard before the map was installed so a gain of 46bhp.
Doing a track day in a week, as it’s Stage 1 I haven’t got an uprated intercooler, just NGK Spark Plugs, K&N Filter and the JCW Pro exhaust. And always ran on 99 Octane. Do you think my engine will survive? It’s also on its original stock clutch on 80,000 miles
