Hi mates
I'd like to fit a LSD to my R56 JCW; it's a road car mainly spirited drived in the Alps or other nice roads with Nurburgring once per year or so.

Light mods to the engine with about 240hp and only 320Nm of torque (not 400Nm as I wanted to stay safe with the drivetrain).
The reason I want a LSD is that I often light fires with the inside wheel in tight but also medium 2nd or 3rd gear corners...
I have KW clubsport suspensions and a proper alignment.
I know the best diffs for performance are the plates one like the Drexler but I prefer a manteinance free LSD and I don't want to spend that kind of money.
So I always thought about Quaife...knowing that when there's zero traction for the inside wheel if works like an open diff (I had it on a S1 Elise in the past and it sucked in some mountain hairpin)...but here is my question for who has fitted it: as the DTC in "off mode" brakes the inside spinning wheel, DOES IT ALSO ALLOW THE QUAIFE TO TRANSFER THE TORQUE TO THE OUTSIDE WHEEL? Or you also could left foot brake...

The best of both worlds seems to be the Wavetrac, manteinance free, Torsen type but with just a pair of clutches to work (a bit) also with a lifted wheel.
But the brand is newer than Quaife and someone say they can be noisy.
It also costs about 1200 euro to me against 850 of the Quaife.
So...which one would you choose?!

Clutch is heavier and heavier so opening the gearbox I am also going to change the stock one with a Clutchmasters FX350 and an alloy flywheel (hoping not to get horrible chattering)
