And the tosspot seller sold the wheels to someone else despite agreeing a sale. Oh well, Sparco Assetto Gara in bronze or Enkei RPF1 reps in silver it will be...can't make my mind up.

Go for ET37 if you can, not only does it help with caliper clearance with a BBK, but it also looks miles better

They do look nice for an OEM wheel.

Keeping a look out for another set for mine as the conicals on it are a real mess. Tempted to run 16”s for a while and see the difference as it’s lowered and bouncy

I've never done this - having two sets of wheels for any car for summer / winter use. I guess if the climate is really severe in winter where you are then it would be something to consider, or you had an 'extreme' set of summer tyres / track tyres like Michelin Pilot Cup 2 or the like, or you were worried about salt getting at some expensive alloys.

I've just replaced my front tyres from Michelin Pilot Super Sports to Michelin Pilot Sport 4 (Super Sports no longer available / superseded). Tyres like these will be be fine all year round for my needs.

Like your new rims - hope you receive them ok this time around, and of course fitted pics please biggrin

collected this evening :-) Will stick the current rainsports on these, get the old set refurbed and put some track tyres on them.

I’m noticing a little bit of clutch judder on mine recently. And a bit of clonking over speed bumps but can’t really see from what exactly. I was thinking of changing the engine mounts as they go apparently. But then I took it for mot and it went straight through so I lost interest in doing it!

think you can get poly inserts for the void bush on the rear mount

How has the car been OP? Any more issues?

I’ve been slowly trying to upgrade mine, but it’s a pain in the neck. Everything underneath is crusty or seized.

forgot to update, not much to say, all engine things are now sorted, just putting miles on it which is nice, done a couple of jobs though

Put some front mud guards on, crap effort at cleaning before fitting BUT it is still clean there so they are working despite what others have said about them.

Swapped out the header tank, old one had a tiny crack on it and given the cars history that is now in the bin. A nice easy 10min swap, so unusual for a mini LOL

And finally added a GFB diverter valve piston thingy, has got rid of a tiny flat spot around first pressing the loud pedal, and pulls better 3-6k rpm now too

Good to see the gremlins have stopped for a while so you can enjoy the car.

Was the coolant change and tank removal easy? Attempted the oil change on mine and you have to move the tank out the way. Every time I moved it coolant pissed out.

Thought it would be wise to do a coolant change if I’m doing the oil filter.

Very, 1 bolt holding it to the slam panel and the bottom hose is retained with a spring clip, just pull it out with pliers and the hose comes out. If you are quick (and leave the cap on) you can turn the tank on its side so it doesn't dump all the coolant, you just need to raise the disconnected hose up a few inches so it doesn't syphon the engine.

Boring update, just passed the MOT with no advisories :-) Next job, try and find a lounge leather seat set.
