The Countryman I have ordered is through the BMW armed forces scheme which includes emergency services and also teachers.

Under the Armed forces scheme the JCW Clubman All 4 is currently discounted by just over £9,000.

Oh it's on offer again, it was £383 a month a few days ago. Think it was £355 when I got it but that included metallic paint. I added £1800 of extras and put £1500 down, my payments went down to £352 due to increased GMFV.
It's the wife's car really and she's a teacher.

If that was for a new car is there any chance you could share details? Looking at used cars but that sounds like an incredible deal if new.
It was new factory order, Unfortunately was a UK Forces offer that expired 31/12/20.
Wow, that's a cracking deal. Don't suppose you know if Blue Light card holders can get anything similar? I don't have one, but I can get one!

Have been talking to my local dealer re face-lifted Cooper S Exclusive auto convertible (F57 apparently, or does that relate to convertible?) for the wife in yellow!! Their demo is due next month.
The dealer has configured a spec for us but even he doesn't know when UK customers will be allowed to dabble!
I've specced the existing convertible to same level and unless I've made a mistake, the new one works out £1100 cheaper at £35.5k! A lot for a MINI! Mind you, we've gone mad with the options list.

I'm looking at the JCW hatch. Best I have secured is £4,100 off list.
Anyone found better?

I think the LCI 2 (JCW) is vastly improved. Looks awesome - especially the rear diffuser.

But I also think the MCS looks hideous. How could they have got that so wrong!!?

That's good going! I think I managed £2.5k when I was putting out feelers pre LCI.

I'm waiting for the configurator to get updated still.

That is almost as good as the Armed Forces discount scheme which is £4456 discount off a base 3door JCW

Happy to pass on the dealer details if you want to DM me fella. I’m hoping to order in the next week or so.

Just ordered a replacement Countryman S for the wife discount of £2,800 and a decent P/X price guaranteed until end April just in case of delays.

Dealers have the latest configurator but still not launched in the UK, I used the German configurator in conjunction with the UK configurator to give me some idea of what options you can now have .

If anything its more limited than before and other items such as the JCW sports seats are free in the Countryman Sport where before they were an additional £500.

Just been confirmed my other half can access the scheme. JCW Clubman or a 128ti. Decisions, decisions...

Tough choice, the Clubman JCW is the better deal as it has almost twice the discount, options appear discounted also, eg. Pan roof, £800 option only cost £400 over the term.
New 1 series is latest tech but the 128ti is a little too expensive for me, if it was sub £350 I'd get one. My next car shortlist does include the 128ti and m135i, hopefully one day they'll do £349 deal like the out going 5dr Auto M140i shadow edition.

Beware - there are errors on the configurator. For example the Countryman Classic shows that the piano black exterior is a no cost option but actually not available at all on the Classic.

Is it really correct that the only way to get Apple CarPlay is with an £1100 Navigation Pack?

Seems that way. What a rip off!
