R56 Cooper - susp spring replacement advice

The op sons car is a Cooper so will have standard Cooper suspension. You could spec standard none sport suspension on the Cooper S when new(Car magazine did test on one years ago) but I don't know if you could spec a Cooper with the sports suspension but this would show on ROEM from all experiences I had with getting right parts for Minis or BMW. However it can be confusing if part no's have been superceded
If want to check ask Mini dealer for part no for correct part no for your cars vin and go from there. Found b Cotswold helpful in making sure got right part no and also being composite on price but up to you who you decide to buy from.
