There were three GP's there that I could see - got photos of all of them. Will be uploading shortly!

Hello!

Thank you to everyone that turned up last night! It was an amazing success! It was unfortunate that it was dark when the convoy finally set off but speaking to the Police we couldn't have arranged it for any earlier in the evening and any later in the year they said it would have been a definite no no! So next time, we'll have to find somewhere on private land to do it! (in the summer & on the weekend!)

We raised a grand total of £1777.11 for Comic Relief but i believe there are still a few bits and pieces to trickle in!

Well done everyone - we made a little piece of history! I'll be contacting everyone regarding certificates! The GWR say they are £10 each which is complete swindle so i'm going to see what price they can do 269 for!

Mine

Please excuse the poor quality – especially the night shots, only have a phone camera at the moment. A digi cam is on the list of things to buy!

Hope people like the pics!

James.

EDIT - One more pic.

Hey jolly you got me!It would have been difficult not to have got me though with all those pics.

Here is a small selection from my tiny digi camera, downloading the SLR ones tonight.

Had so much fun last night and what a great atmosphere. Suppose I best get myself on some more mini adventures.

Cool - glad you both had a good night!

Looking forward very much to the pics! I've really got the bug for these meets now, once I've got my Uni exams out of the way I think I might attend some of the mini2.com northwest meets and maybe do a summer run - called the 'heartbeat run' or something!

Which S is yours?

I wish I could say one of the cooler modified ones but mine is in the second darkness falls pic. I haven't seen so many modded cars in one place since Stevenage several years ago.

Very nice car - wednesday night confirmed that once I turn 21 (insurance) I KNOW that I will get an S - such awesome cars.

Youre right about the moddified ones - some of them sounded (and looked) amazing. I just love the way that they pop and bang as standard but some of them just seemed to do it for fun!

Any of you two got any pics for us?

I know several of the lads on the Charnock meet up were doing it for fun. Lordy seemed happy to pop his car at regular intervals. Talking to a few people there and everyone I spoke to had done mods to their cars. I was ashamed when they asked me what i had done, sweet FA.

I have more pics at home, trying to convert them from RAW to jpeg to upload them, they need some touching up especially the darker shots.

Definately get an S when you can afford to.

BTW - who are you on mini2?

I love your pics - and you got my MCS on the pic of the 4 red minis - mine is the second mini from the camera with the white OZ alloys. That's the 3rd pic of her that I've seen posted here and on mini2.com - hurray!

You've got a long way to go to beat a convoy of 6,051 real Mini's at Silverstone in 1989...

Still converting my digi SLR from RAW to jpeg so I can post them up here. Trying a little digi wizardry to lighten some of them up.
