In the middle of a weekend with some friends and when they arrived in their Mini Cooper there was a warning light on which we think is linked to the run flat tyres - I believe it is called: run flat indicator warning light.

Checked the tyre pressures and all roughly equal! Admittedly at 27/28 psi.

Any ideas or what to do as dont want to just initialise the systema gain in case we are missing something obvious???

Thanks as always for any help.

If the tyres are actually ok, you can reset the system.

Turn the key to the first position (before ignition) and hold down the button (which on my mini is below the handbrake). It will have the same (_) type symbol as the light.

After a few seconds the light should go out.

The run flat indicator will come on if pressure is lost in up to 3 of the tyres. But it only registers when the diameter of the tyre decreases and, being run flat, you have to lose quite a bit of pressure before it will register
