Which mini for towing a kart?

Hullo all,

I'm thinking about changing my S2000 to a mini so I can buy a kart, a trailer, and tow it to the track. However, I'm a bit unsure about which model to get.

The Cooper S seems to tick all the right boxes, however with the twin exhausts I wasn't sure if it could take a tow bar. Can it? If not are there any other solutions?

You'll struggle to find a Towbat for a standard Cooper S exhaust. There is a company in america that make them, but they look gay.

You could fit an aftermarket twin exit exhaust to a Cooper S and fit a Cooper towbar.

MPG will be crap on a Cooper S towing though!

Buy a Cooper S for the road, and a Combo sized van for £2k.

i dont think u are allowed to fit a tow bar on a S as the tow bar is mounted where in the reversing / fog light in the centre of the bumper.

I know this is not a Mini Adventure, but I'd suggest you buy a sh!tter estate car for the karting or go to your local track where you want to race and see if anyone with a van/trailer can help you out with logistics for a small fee? Karters are a friendly bunch
