one quick question, anyone know whats different on the facelift models which got the power up to 170bhp? also any help on a few simple mods for a bit more poke would be cool for later on when i do eventually grab one!

facelift model has 7bhp more, revised gear ratios which are better, nicer sounding exhaust (prob same but changed slightly!), 3 piece dash instead of 5 so less rattles (in theory!) clock in speedo, orange lighting through cabin, lockable glovebox, revised bumpers and new wheels, fog light and reverse light swapped, new colours, slightly large cup holders and slightly more storage (no big deal) and think thats about it.

GTT down south are an excellent tuning company. for about £1000 they could see your S putting out about 220bhp biggrin my S is currently about 180bhp with JCW airfilter and Catback Milltek exhaust. sounds awesome!

incidently the cooper is virtually untuneable. i got 132bhp out of mine only to later discover that my gearbox was only rated for 128bhp (midland box prefacelift) which was part of the reason it went after 22k. that and it was a shite box biggrin

Mine was the Cooper - had to drive hard to keep up with the S's
