Hi all, i have a 2003 mini cooper s gtt220, it has just had its oil service done under TLC, and bmw have told me that i need new brakes, disks and pads all round.
The question is what brakes to go for, what seem to be the most popular??
Also does anybody know any good independents in the Berkshire area that would fit them BMW want to much????

I have not done it myself...but GTT and Lohen would be good starting places to get an idea of cost.
Maybe a cheaper option would be stick with stock brakes and just upgrade the pads ?
Post on www.mini2.com and you'll get a much wider audience...and probably a better answer.

I appreciate that the brakes are pretty poor for the speed availble on the Mini Cooper S, mine recently had fronts and rears, the rears costing £255 inc VAT !!!The question is what brakes to go for, what seem to be the most popular??
