Wat are your favourite accessories/add-ons that you've got in your mini. Looking to work on the interior a little bit in my 2001 mini one. I'm sick of the seats, and am thinking of putting in a new audio system, and to generally make it a much more comfy car to drive!

I find it difficult to find the right accessories or see all the different options. Do other people have this problem?

If so where can you go to get accessories for your car?

Best add-on I have done to my Mini was to add a Parrot kit. Mki9000.

It improved the sound quality when listening to my IPod, added Bluetooth calling and texts, charges my phone, added some steering wheel controls.

It kept the stereo OEM looking and the standard stereo on my Mini Clubman was a bit crappy in terms of sound quality. On a 2001 Mini One it should be quite easy to fit yourself too.

I'm looking to invest in some Recaro's but the MINI tax is at an all time high at the moment!

I bought my last Recaro interior for my Clio RS for £850.

For the MINI ones people seem to want more like £1250-1750 which is ridiculous imo. I was speaking to people on MiniTorque and they said a few years ago they were all below a grand, so don't know what's going on there.

There's lots of little carbon fibre touches you can do from Orranje, or even the official JCW gear knob and gaiter are only £65 iirc from Cotsworld MINI. A steering wheel retrim always adds a nice touch too... look at Snappy @ ClioSport or Jack @ Royal Steering.

Sound wise I'm about to buy a new Alpine unit, they come quite cheap these days. CarAudioCentre seems to have the best prices!
