Evening Everyone.
When my girlfriend and I were at the main dealer for Mini a couple of weeks ago we were invited to a Mini Adventure day out to Borth. We were told that there would be around 30-40 minis going down in convoy from Shrewsbury. To our surprise when we got to Rybrook we were told that there would be around 60 minis going. Here are the pictures of our day out. (my mini is the sparkling silver with the black roof/mirrors)

Comparing mine to a friends, I think the chrome detailing on the front and the black roof looks better ^_^

Thinking about getting black bonnet stripes, going to have a play in photoshop to see how it looks first.

The sea!!!

Hope you enjoy the pics!

Cheers

The end.

Hi Mike,

We didn't win anything, well I don't think so anyway. My girlfriend and I didn't stop the whole day as we went to visit family near by. But I did get a missed call on the way home... But all in all it was a really good day.

Thanks.

We left early too as my wife was going out that evening. Saw the GP that joined us at Welshpool having a good blat on the way back to the beach - swear he was airborne for a bit! We took the A44 on the way back - found it a bit more interesting than the route in

We went that way back home too. Had to make a decision, Newtown then Welshpool or straight to Welshpool through the hills. My arm was aching when I got home from moving up and down the gears so much. Was a good drive, first proper drive in the mini since we got it. Which mini were you in?

Ah Borth!!! Happy memories... a very pleasant evening spent on the beach and then decided to teach my then girlfriend how to do handbrake turns. Quite how she interpreted "not on this bit of sand its too soft" as "do a handbrake turn here and get us stuck in the sand" is still lost on me. Cue frantic digging as the tide heads in!

Sadly, considering how our relationship ended, I managed to dig her car out in time.

Looks like a great day and has got me thinking that my poor little Cooper S has been cooped up in London too long and should stretch its legs!
