It's back

This week my little Cooper S came back to me.

It's now had the full JCW kit under the bonnet, JCW exhaust fitted too.

17'' wheels gone in favour of 16'' ones, along with new springs and dampers. It's now 10mm lower...and yep, they're JCW too.

I'll tell you more in a feature on homepage soon, but I now have a super stealth little rocket.

Next Thursday i'm taking it to the PH trackday at Bedford Autodrome, can't wait

JCW brakes?

Currently it's on standard brakes. But local dealer has JCW brakes in stock, just incase I want them.

I'll see how the standard brakes perform before I spend anymore money.

The brakes should perform okay - the standard R56 brakes are the same diameter as the 1st Gen JCW brakes, same 54mm single piston caliper too.

If they get a bit warm, try an upgrade to braided hoses and 5dot1 fluid - makes a heck of a difference
