Would appreciate any thoughts.Opinions etc please?...My wife bought a new Mini Cooper 3 years ago and loves the car and has no plans to change in the forseeable future. The car has @ 20k miles and it will have similare quite light usage in the future. While Kate has had the car it has been back to the main dealer twice for warranty work ( exhaust and window winder mech issue)
Kate is now thinking about taking out the extended warranty at £443 per year..what do you think?

Thanks all

Cheers

Steve

I don't think its worth it, I have freinds how have done twice those miles and have had the car longer and the expenditure on parts was not that much.

Your call though. BTW you will be surprised at how easy it may be to get into a new car if you had not thought about it, deals are afoot biggrin

Why not take the monthly option and spread the cost? Likely the price will not alter in the forseeable.

I don't think its worth it. I'm an old timer beyond the five year point on an 03 Cooper S and I can't remember anything on my car needing warranty work. All the services however have resulted in the usual sundries, like the brake discs and pads and all the other bits that fall outside the warranty of course!

HTH.
