Hi, I am looking at buying a 53 plate cooper s. I want to fit a tow bar.. The exhaust is in the way, i know, but.. Will a side exit 'cooper' exhaust fit onto a cooper s? I know the cut out in the bumper is a bit of trim that can easily be changed, but is there any differance under the rear floor of a cooper and a cooper s?

Thanks.

May be a stupid question.. but what are you planning on towing? Your Lunchbox?

Why not buy a Cooper and see if an engineering shop will make you one?

Good find, there I was gonig to suggest an Audi Allroad for towing.

Not sure you would manage to tow our horsebox though.

The mini pulls really well and will have no trouble with large weights,

not planning on towing anything with it, just do a lot of biking and the best way to carry bikes is on my tow bar mounted bike rack.

I also carry my bikes on the towbar with the device I made, its essentially a copy of the minidomore item.

With regards to your question, the underside of the cooper and S are not the same, as there is no battery in the boot of a cooper where as they put the bin for the battery in the boot of the S and the positing of the exhaust on the S makes it difficult to fit.
