Pinking

Hi all,I picked up my R53 JCW last Thursday and it is pinking slightly on hard accelaration.It's not as bad since I filled up with v power,but should it pink on the lower grade fuel?Has anybody else had these issues?

Just the JCW kit as far as I'm aware.

My R53 does it every now and again, and I have had one of the two coil packs repaced, and it still does it, V Power, Tesco 99, Nomal etc etc

Had a dodgy boost sensor replaced,it seems ok now.

It should run fine on 95 octane fuel anyway.
High octane is recommended for best performance and economy on the JCW certificate.
It shouldnt pink on 95 octane fuel, so it must of been the ignition problem you found.
