So it's the OHs birthday coming up and I was thinking about buying a Clubman S. It will do very little mileage but would give them greater freedom and confidence as they lack it in the current car which incidentally is not being swapped out. They love minis but think they're too common, hence why Clubman would be better.

Anyway, I saw a few months ago some with low low mileage, like 3 miles for about £1400 with chilli pack. Are there any bargains like that around anymore? I have looked on cherished but nothing comes within 1.5k of that. As it's a present my budget doesn't want me being frivilous, so what am I likely to get for about £13k tops?

There is one I have seen miles away for about £15.5k. pre-reg, a few at that dealership from 10 months ago with v small mileage. Is it worth emailing/calling with a low offer of about 13k?

you'll find Cooper Clubmans for about £12-13k but doubt you'll find a Cooper S, we had a chili-pack Cooper S Clubman with JCW alloys and a few other bits for £13,900 but i think that was the cheapest in the country.

Clubmans don't hold their value as much as hatch MINI's, they tend to loose the extra they cost over a hatch and the same again over the same period. ie, if a hatch was £15k and the Clubman 16k, an ex-demo hatch would be about £13k and the Clubman c. £12k...

happy hunting!

Mabye see what you can get off a new stock one (if there any left that you like) I recently gave 3k off one to one of my customers.

Great car, better than the hatch IMO.
