This morning after dropping my clubman off for a service I made the mistake of test driving a new Cooper S in black. Why do we do this to ourselves? I now just have to convince the wife her Polo needs replacing.....

Bit disappointed that my local Mini/BMW dealer has just leased a fleet of new fiesta's for use as courtesy cars, what a disappointing car, the drive, styling, its going to be a along threedays.

...but the new Fiesta is supposed to be excellent!?

Especially the Yamaha motor in the 1.25.

The new Fiesta is a major improvement over any other a model but I would expect a BMW of some description...

I think there may be a big cost saving in running the fords rather than any BMW? It is a lot les money than the Mini and smaller, maybe BMW should do a mini mini?

The way customers treat courtesy cars, it is probably best that they go down this route as using one from their 'stock' would probably ensure that the particular car used as a courtesy car, will never be in a fit state to resell!

We give out a mini, I had the unpleasant expeirence of driving our service loan car the other night (mini one, god awful things) it felt horrid, it had been keyed (althuogh this might be because it is green and someone thought it was a foxtons car) and had all manner of engine noises and clutch issues. It's only done 8k, I think we should start using cheaper cars.
