What do you want to know?

I presume you are talking about the R56 MINI one?

IMO they are utter st, cost marginally less than the cooper, are much slower, use as much fuel, insurance difference negligible if over 20.

Once again, nothing I have heard of, the MINI one is already out in 1.4 R56 form.. Is this another model already?

You might be talking about the clubman that they are bringing out (or have already) in mini one guise..

Good lord.

Haven't heard anything about this (I work for them) but that sounds like one of the most pointless cars I have ever heard of. Unless its 10k (which it won't be), still top marks for making that 1.4 less powerful than it already is.

Apparently it's not being released into our market.

What market will be having that then??? I drove the R56 MINI ONE a few months ago and thought it was pretty nippy. Why on earth would they release a less powerful ONE??

Not sure, European, American, just not ours.

Well I assume it will appeal to first time drivers, etc. But as you say I think the current mini one is a dog, and wouldn't like to be lumbered with one of these ones..

i doubt it's going to be release to any of the colonies as they don't even get the standard ONE, i doubt it would come here unless it was cheap enough to stop people buying fiat 500s so i'm guessing its for emerging markets like china/india etc...

It's 1,500 euro cheaper than the 95PS One at 17,890 euro. I think it's mainly one for the fleet market (courtesy cars, pool cars etc.) market and to provide an enttry-level model for people who just buy into the looks/image as it's got no advantage in fuel economy/emissions versus the regular One and Cooper models and I'd imagine it would be more than a bit lethargic.

There's a new MINI model in Auto Express, very much along the same lines as the Smart, rear engine, possibly electric option, much smaller than the current model, but with 4 doors!
