51 plate power steering whine.. They all do it right??!!

Yep - they all do it. Although there are numerous reports of the power steering failing, the whine is perfectly normal.

(I have owned two Minis and both have done it!)

As above they all do it, the any way to get rid of it is to remove the power steering...

You will get used to it

The latest pump is alot quiter with minimal whine on turn, the first pumps 01/02/03 were extremly loud.

The pumps early on were prone to failure....it has been well documented on Watchdog over the last month!!!
