was this price with all the JCW extras duckson?
Yes, bodykit, wheels and carbon bits. I paid £17k for the car as it stood from a main dealer in September so not to bad considering it was only 5 months old when i got it and as you know its at the high point in its depreciation curve. For a MINI, even considering the 1st year steep depreciation, it's quite a huge loss!

colour
mileage
what they paid for it
how it compares to the rest of the MINI group (probably the main reason after the mileage and spec)
New it would of been in the £22-23k region, luckily i didnt (and wouldnt of) bought it new.
Prices are quite varied, really depends how lucky you are. I've seen some cars for sale for quite a while that arent that much less than mine was but 1-2 years older with alot more miles and thats just it, they are still for sale so obviously they are asking too much.
I know for a fact (because he told me himself!) the previous owner got £15500 when he traded it in and i got that selling it back to the dealer 6 months later!
Dave, i reckon you'd get £14k for it....try a few dealers if you've had no luck private. Remember you dont get most of the prices on optional extras back when you sell, just makes it more desirable.
I've now placed a deposit on a Focus RS - http://www.bristolstreet.co.uk/page/used_cars.htm?...

My Mini is on Halliwell Jones stock at £17490, minus the private plate it seems (N666 MCS) and no mention of the JCW Aero kit or R105 wheels but as there is no pictures as yet I cant verify if that is an oversight.
Funnily enough it was at that same price in September last year when i bought it (for £17k in the end).
