Hi All,

Doe snayone else have an issue with run flats losing air pressure?

I always check mine pressures (weekly) but one or two of the tyres seem to lose more pressure than the rest. Had them checked and I always (despite them fixing it previously) get the info of "Faulty Valve" but with this issue the car becomes a little wavey when driving.

All tyres loose air over time however it may need to be re-seated on the wheel

As per the previous post - I had the same issue with one of my newly fitted tyres - it had to be removed and the wheels inner rim cleaned up - due to unseen alloy corosion etc.

You could try adding a little tyre weld - which has worked for me in the past for slow puntures if they are old tyres.

Steve,

Tyres are only 6k old so tread on them are good.

It's only one tyre and it happens so often to that same wheel. It's been taken off twice and resealed and also had two new valves.

Confusion dot com.

Drive to a tyre shop and get them to place it in a big tub of water and you will see where the air is coming from. Often they are not seated correctly or you could have a small crack in the alloy, maybe the wheel has corroded and become pours around the edge? Check it in water and you will know for sure
