My mam has a Mini Cooper and needs to change the tyres, is it worth changing to normal tyres rather than the run flats? Has anyone done this ? Any thoughts?
Cheaper to buy, better ride, I say do it IMO. I think the only reason to keep them would be to possibly get a few quid more come resale time (if she plans on selling it anytime soon), or if she's worried about a blowout.
Many people have done this and do not look back, just be sure to carry some form of tyre weld. Having normal tyres will not effect your resale at any point, people want rid of the run flats
