OK, so in perhaps my finest moment of car ownership, I spent all afternoon giving the car a good vac and wash.

As I did this clean I had the music playing. So after 3-4 hours I come to start the car up and its dead. After failing to jump off the girlfriends Corsa I ring AA and they come and jump me. They also check the battery and inform me that it will need replacing soon.

I wasn't going to buy one "of the van" (if they still do that scam) but i'd like some recommendations for replacement batteries anyway.

I always put halfords own in everytime i change one on a mini, got a trade card so the price is good. They last as long as stock if not longer. Minis done jump start well off other cars and the only was are from a jump pack or just bump start
