It's still driveable fortunately - just rather warm inside with no air-con. But yes, that thing certainly has a temper, it sounded like a shot going off which did make me jump a little.yesterday in the car park of the Old Red Lion, Litchborough

the owner told me he rebuilt the car from a boxes of bits and the engine was/is the Mk1 Cortina GT, it's been uprated by Burton but the 130 mph speedo would still be optomistic
as we left the pub a 1930s Bently/Lagonda(?) went by
go to a good interesting pub and you see good interesting cars
