Hi folks, I don't know if the timetable for Sunday is in the public domain anywhere, but the provisional timetable as the Tuscan series qualifying the first event of the day from 1000 to 1015 with racing starting at 1030 with the VSR V6, Silhouttes & Super Silhouettes Championship. The Tuscans are on at 1100 and 1425.

If anyone wants a full copy of the provisional timetable email me and I'll attach it to the reply.

Regards
Iain

The Final Instructions now have Tuscans racing at 1050 and 1410, the whole timetable has been shuffled forward a bit.

Oh and the Tuscans are on the "Sportscar" circuit, which is from what I can gather the "International Long" circuit www.rockingham.co.uk/track/internationallong.asp but without the loop back inside near turn three (top middle the picture) of the Oval

Iain

Am hoping to get there, assuming Mrs L has gone pop by then

Are we going to meet up anywhere and convoy in together?
Do we know if there is a designated TVR parking area?
Would be good to be able to get near the pits if possible too.

Hopefully I'll have the TVR back for the weekend so wouldn't mind a bit of a at the end of the day if there's time.

I'll be at the Trading Post just inside Kettering off the A14 junction that has the exit for the A43 to Northampton.

Prob be there around 8:45 to get there early enough to see all the action!

Be good to meet you!

Presumably uou'll then head in via the A6003? If so can I meet you (and anyone else) at the BP garage at fourways just outside of Corby about 9.00am?

Think I know the one so yep will pull in to RV with you.

As I have had no word on tickets and exhausted all my other options does anyone want to bulk buy for a group? I personally don't like Q'ing up with muppets to get into these things so have just enough time to order in advance.

I was going to grab one on the day as the savings are minimal but I'd forgotten about the muppets queuing syndrome so happy to join you in an order!

Sorry to sound obtuse here, do you generally get decent sized crowds at the Thunder Sundays??? Never been to one before and typically this year we've beem playing to pub gig sized crowds as opposed to Knebworth.

Iain

Dunno but I still may pre-order and look important by not needing to buy at the booth.

TBH on the few occasions I've been to Rockingham it has never been that busy.

Problem is that even when there are lots of people ther it can still look empty as its so BIG.

At least there will be a minimum of 3 pople there: Me, Blip and Bigrah (maybe Longers too!)

It's true ... the poor old place always looks empty.

You need to pray for rain .... the organisers there have been known to ask for volunteers to drive round to dry the track out for them you know
