Make sure the motor or drive are not just seized up as that would cause the fuse to blow.

Should be resonably simple to sort out as the motors aren't exactly complicated.

It sounds like the mechanism has seized then as if it was an electrical fault it would have been more likely to stop suddenly when the fuse went. Alternatively it could be worn brushes but if so it should be easy to fix.

Definitely worth checking the mechanicals and trying to free & lubricate it. How easy is it to get to the wiper motor/mech?

If it was worn brushes then the fuse wouldn't pop, i'll just get a new motor and be done with it. You can have the old one to power the TVR. laugh
