I believe their eating their way through the shirt backlog now.

Excited for the weekend. My first parkrun in ages, and then doing a course run through with our ambassador for the soon-to-start junior parkrun on the same field. Please no rain...

Had a nice parkrun in the middle of my 15 mile run this morning and my mate kindly let me get my first parkrun first through the line. Not quick but given the icy weather I think we were lucky it was on at all

5km Parkrun this morning followed by 5km Santa Fun Run. Both done at a very leisurely 30min time as I walked and talked it with friends. All good fun.

Got my junior parkrun start date - a 14 week wait currently! Wowzer, but so excited and so exciting it's got so popular this year.

Finally going to do my 100th tomorrow. It's only taken me 6 years haha..

Started 2017 on 60 something runs so it's been a fairly good year for me with over 70% of saturdays spent parkrunning.

Will be interesting to see what the new milestone t-shirts will look like.

They're changing colours?

Same colours I believe, just a different supplier that I forget the name of.

I just assumed that they would be different as Tribesports are not the supplier anymore. Wasn't expecting them to be a different colour but thought they would a different design.

Quite disappointed to have missed one of the Christmas parkruns this morning. SWMBO and I found ourselves wide awake with plenty of time to open some presents then get to Parkrun...with the kids fast asleep until it was too late.

I was run directing this morning, 444 runners including 3 plod who ran in full work kit!

It's always a brilliant event on Christmas day with lots of people dressed up and bringing fizz and mince pies for afterwards.

Processed the results while waiting for the turkey to cook!

Managed to drag my sister, her boyfriend and my mate to parkrun this morning. My parents even came along to watch. Even though it was absolutely pissing with rain we still had a blast. Really good to get out and do a bit of exercise before going home to stuff our faces all day.
Well done to all the volunteers and everyone else at Edinburgh parkrun this morning. Great event.

Great turnout at Cannon Hill parkrun yesterday. My first on a Christmas morning, can see it becoming a tradition!

So, who did the double today? Decided to go slightly further afield and get some tourism in by visiting Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington.

Both absolute mudfests, but a really nice change of pace from my normal fully paved courses. Great atmosphere at both, which really showed my home course as lacking somewhat in terms of being quite impersonal.

A double parkrun milestone for me this morning.

Pontefract and Nostell Priory running the 6 miles between them.

Very good turn out at them both.
