you just need to put your parkrun number in

Perfect, thanks! Or at least, it would have been if they hadn't sold out of every size between small and 3XL! From a look online it could be a long wait before they restock, albeit what I read was typically threads from 1-2 years ago.

I did notice that, but as I've got another 40 runs to get to 100 there's a chance they'll have some stock when I need them smile

I've got 27 to go to 100, the 5k app reckons there are 42 left this year so it's certainly possible but the most I've done in a year is 23 (life gets in the way over the summer!) so we'll see if I can get it done. My volunteering may have to be tail walker so I still get the run credit!
I'll be getting a wristband (think they call it ultraband) instead of the t-shirt so no worries about stock smile

I didn't realise there was quite so much milestone merch available. I looked at the ultraband but I've got my barcode on my running watch. So i bought myself a consolation hoodie instead while i wait for t-shirts to come back in stock hehe

I got a 250 hoodie for Christmas. It’s a well made one and fits great. Recommended.

I think I was on over 120 before I managed to get hold of my 100 shirt. My Mrs managed to do hers just in time to get the last of the 100 jackets.
They do seem to be doing a massive amount of merch these days, surprisingly expensive too.

Perry Hall has cancelled in light of Rocup. Was due to be their 400th event as well.

Um it's now moved to Sutton Park.

I presume they’ll be running the old Parkrun route so shouldn’t clash with the new route. Bit of consideration from the Rocup group at last.

Except once you cancel a parkrun you can't un cancel it so the Perry Hall one is still off. Anyhoo number 400 will be next week.

Really? They’ve got a couple days to un cancel it. It’s not like they have road closures to sort out and presumably they already had a volunteer list?

It's a standard parkrun policy, once it's cancelled that's it. Presumably they don't want events getting cancelled, then suddenly getting uncancelled after a load of the volunteers have made other plans.

Somebody should reach out to Rocup and appoint them to be caretakers of Aston Hall parkrun.

It'd never happen, but would solve two problems!

Spookily similar here. Registered mid December 2023, completed parkrun number 11 this morning, and definitely not a "natural runner". All mine have been at Bournemouth (King's Park), where the start line is almost exactly 1 mile from my front door.

This morning I managed to set a new PB. Nothing to set the world alight, at 29:15, but according to Strava it's also my second fastest 5k since I got my first Garmin in around 2012/2013. I "celebrated" by running a full 10k on my run home, although that was done at a far slower pace... hehe

I took the flag home last week to use a meeting point for a load of our regulars at the local 10k and half marathon on the Sunday...and forgot to take it back on Saturday, oops.

I was hoping to go to a closed one this weekend, my work ID gets me on site, but it turns out I can't sign a guest in, so I need to persuade one of my colleagues based on site to take up parkrun so I can get them to sign my wife in next time I'm there. I think that's probably a safer option than me going without her hehe

Posting since I’m feeling pleased with myself

New overall PB today, 24.30 which is 20 seconds faster than the old one set over 4 years ago

Next target, sub 25 at somewhere a bit hillier than today’s mostly flat course
