Now it looks like the nba wil be up and running by xmas , thought it might be a good idea to see if anyone follows it or the american college league or even the the scene in the uk?

What channels or websites do you use for coverage of the NBA. Some of the sites out there are appalling for updates.

Sportsillustrated NBA section is good but I tend to use the LA Times and Silverscreenandroll.com for my chatter.

I've been signed up to NBA leaguepass broadband which is pretty good. If you get a US Apple TV then you can get it directly from that too.

I watch nba on espn and college on espn america and also use the espn website to keep up to date.

Been some great games recently ! If you havent got espn just check nba.com and watch all the highlights ! My team Denver are on a great run at the moment even without the "main man" Carmelo.

Derrick Rose is doing his thing, such a talented guy. My fav player at the minute though is James Harden for OKC 22 in his 2nd year of the NBA and looks solid.

I follow the BBL. Used to watch MK Lions regularly when I lived in MK. Don't really watch NBA. Prefer to actually go to a game.

@ Ben jk- i watched plymouth just before christmas, as my home town team were playing plymouths ebl team earlier in the day.
Nba's ok but colege basketball is where it's at, look up the duke-temple game or the michigan state-wisconsin game.
I have no idea why the games not more popular in this country it's safe to take your family/kids to, it doesn't cost loads, theres lots of action and as a spectator you can do your part when the opposition has free throws.

Another big weekend for OKC! James Harden and K.Durant killing it as always. Knicks finally get a win !

I was going to start a new thread but hopefully you may be able to help. I've got a ticket for the new york knicks on the 31st march. Start time is 7.30 but what sort of time should I aim on getting there?

I've never been to a game before so are there things going on before the main event?

I don't think you can get into the arena earlier than a hour before tip off, there are loads of food stalls around msg or if you want to splash out book a table at the club bar and grill.

Before a game they normally drop the lights pump up the music and introduce the away team then the home team.
