Great victory by Carter against the twerp, well deserved.
Ummm... Why be so provocative in a snooker thread on a motoring forum?

I'm happy Carter finally got his win over Ronnie just as I am sad that one of the greatest players ever is no longer in the tournament this year. I'd be okay with Carter winning it all, but surely Ding is now the favourite (if he is still in it?!).
Because Noob.

I'm fairly non plussed with the guys left, I had hoped Ronnie would get a 6th and equal Davis, Reardon etc and get closer to Hendry.

That said I would like to see Ding win or Williams.

Dammit ,I just saw the sports news on the end of the news and saw what looked like a win for Carter ,now confirmed.

I do like watching Ronnie play ,clearing a full table in 5 minutes or similar......frown

That's like saying you only watched F1 because of Schumacher (back in the day!!), footie because of Golden Balls, or MotoGP because of Rossi etc. wink

Has Mark Williams an injury ?
He played 2 shots, both fouls one handed about 5 minutes ago.

It was very strange however Williams is known to play such unorthodox shots - for example he sometimes plays a shot with his bridge hand in the air instead of using a spider.

Haven't seen a great deal of him before but Milkins reminds me of Tony Drago.

Some unbelievable misses by these two tonight - you'd think it was John Higgins vs Stephen Lee playing.

Didn’t see those but did see Milkins deliberately play the last black one-handed for a clearance an hour or so ago. Maybe Williams trying to mimic him?

I'm like that and I just really enjoy watching Ronnie play, whereas watching almost everyone else becomes a little boring and I lose interest a fair bit.

Ding to win please. Although I'd be happy with anyone but the obvious. I can only see Allen taking him out before the final.

I'd love this. He's in insane form, he's steamrollering McGill.
