Its the first time that Ronnie has actually annoyed me(love watching him/always been a big fan). He was taking out his backside for me in that interview, and I was disappointed that he was saying things just for a reaction, rather than be happy with his achievement.

He seems to be playing some kind of game with his comments, and I thought he came across as a bit of a pratt today(I think Jimmy White thought similar too).

He's a real wazzock. Didn't deserve his talent, and hasn't done justice to it.

Unbelievable player, quite probably the GOAT (or would have been if he'd knuckled down), very charismatic, and yet I wouldn't cross the road to go for a beer with him.

I think he thinks it makes him look interesting or intelligent it does not. My 92 year old mother has watched Snooker even before it was in black and white and she will not even watch a single frame if he is on TV.

He is simply a phenomenon. Easily the best player ever to pick up a stick, he just seems to battle on.

Ronnie makes some interesting points about what is in it for the 128th best player in the world and whether the public really want to see the top 16 playing rank outsiders in draughty venues across the UK.

Clearly snooker is in a better place now than it was, but is it perfect ?
