Due to having severe asthma, Anthony Hamilton has withdrawn from the event, citing he doesn’t feel safe as there are spectators in The Crucible.
It’s just been announced in the coverage on Eurosport that Boris has now said no more spectators at indoor events.

Fake applause? What’s everyone’s opinion? I personally like it, part of The Crucible atmosphere, especially in the 2 table set up, is that one half of the crowd can go into rapturous applause just as a player on the other table is about to take a shot.

I like the idea, but the sound quality over the speakers in the Crucible is appalling. If it sounded nice, I would like it.
